Labour Market Barometer

The barometer describes the labour market participation of three groups: people without a migration background (whose parents also have none), the second generation (one or both parents with a migration background), and people who migrated to Belgium themselves, whether they hold a foreign nationality or have since acquired Belgian nationality.

Where possible, results are broken down by gender and by region (Brussels-Capital Region, Flemish Region, Walloon Region). Beyond differences in employment, unemployment and inactivity, the barometer maps further differences by gender and migration background. The analysis covers all of Belgium, based on the Labour Force Survey.
